Jeremy Darroch

Jeremy Darroch

Chief Executive

Jeremy Darroch was appointed as a Director of the Company in August 2004. He was appointed CEO in December 2007, having previously been Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Jeremy was Group Finance Director of DSG International plc (DSG), formerly Dixons Group plc. He joined DSG after 12 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of roles in the UK and Europe. Jeremy is a Non-Executive Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Marks & Spencer plc. He is also a Board Member of the charity Youth Sport Trust and a Council Member of the Council for Industry and Higher Education.

Deborah Baker

Deborah Baker

Director for People

Deborah Baker joined Sky in December 2007 as Director for People. Prior to joining Sky, Deborah was Senior Vice President, Human Resources Worldwide at Burberry plc, responsible for all HR issues across the group. She spent the early part of her career in roles at companies including Ford Motor Company, Schlumberger and Grand Metropolitan and went on to work in the retail, distribution and wholesale sectors, focusing particularly on turnaround situations.

James Conyers

General Counsel

James Conyers was appointed General Counsel in September 2005. He is responsible for all legal and regulatory affairs across the group. James joined Sky’s legal department in April 1993, becoming Deputy Head of Legal and Business Affairs in 1998 and Head of Legal and Business Affairs in 2005.

Barney Francis

Barney Francis

Managing Director, Sky Sports

Barney Francis was appointed Managing Director, Sky Sports in July 2009. He is responsible for Sky Sports output across four core sports channels and Sky Sports News HD, as well as online and mobile content. Barney has worked in television for 17 years in the terrestrial, multi-channel and independent production sectors. He joined Sky in 1999, and has since produced a range of live coverage, support programming and sports news content. As Sky’s executive producer for cricket for six years, Barney was responsible for Sky’s first exclusively live coverage of England’s domestic Tests, before moving on to Premier League and UEFA Champions League production.

Mai Fyfield

Mai Fyfield

Group Director of Strategy and Business Development

Mai Fyfield was appointed Group Director of Strategy and Business Development in July 2008. In this role Mai provides strategic insight and analysis across all aspects of Sky’s business. She is also responsible for business development and oversees the distribution of Sky’s channels to other platforms in the UK and Ireland. Mai was previously Deputy Head of Strategy. She joined Sky in 1999, and prior to that spent nine years working as an economic advisor to blue-chip companies in a number of different industries, both in the UK and the USA.

Andrew Griffith

Andrew Griffith

Chief Financial Officer

Mr Griffith joined the Company in 1999 and held a number of senior finance roles prior to his appointment as CFO in April 2008. Since 2012, in addition to his role as CFO, he has had Executive responsibility for Sky’s commercial businesses, including advertising, data services and broadcasting to licensed premises. Mr Griffith joined the company from Rothschild, the investment banking organisation, where he provided financial and strategic advice to corporate clients in the technology, media and telecommunications sector. He has a degree in law from Nottingham University, is a member of the 100 Group of Finance Directors and the Advisory Board of the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation.

Didier Lebrat

Didier Lebrat

Chief Technology Officer

Didier Lebrat joined Sky in December 2006 as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he leads the technical strategy, development and operations for broadcast, IT, internet and network platforms. Before joining Sky, Didier was CTO at Vodafone Italy, and before that CTO at Orange UK.

Graham McWilliam

Graham McWilliam

Group Director of Corporate Affairs

Graham McWilliam was appointed Group Director of Corporate Affairs in March 2008. He is responsible for External and Internal Communications, Policy & Public Affairs, and Sky’s Bigger Picture sustainability programme. He is a director of the Sky Pro Cycling team and Chairman of Sky’s Data Governance Committee. Graham was previously Director of Corporate Communications and Policy, and before that Deputy Head of Strategy. He joined Sky in April 2000 from the BBC where he was Head of Television Strategy. Graham is a trustee of the Royal Television Society.

Chris Stylianou

Chris Stylianou

Managing Director, Customer Service Group

Chris Stylianou was appointed Managing Director, Customer Service Group in August 2011. He is responsible for Sky’s contact centres, 'E' service capability and in-home installation and service operations. Chris was previously joint Deputy Managing Director, Customer Group, and before that Deputy CFO. He joined Sky in January 1996 from KPMG where he was a senior manager in the Media practice.

Sophie Turner Laing

Sophie Turner Laing

Managing Director, Content

Sophie Turner Laing was appointed Managing Director, Content in March 2007. She has overall responsibility for Sky’s portfolio of entertainment and news channels including Sky 1, Sky News, Sky Arts, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living and Sky Movies, as well as Broadcast Operations. Sophie also leads Sky’s relationships with joint venture and partner channels and oversees the international distribution of channels and programmes. Sophie joined Sky in March 2003 as Director of Movies from the BBC where she held a number of senior roles including Acting Director of Television. Sophie began her television career at Henson International Television, setting up HIT Entertainment with Peter Orton in 1989 and later moving to Flextech. She is a non-executive director of Debenhams plc, and a trustee of BAFTA, The Media Trust and the National Film & TV School.

Stephen van Rooyen

Stephen van Rooyen

Managing Director, Sales and Marketing

Stephen van Rooyen was appointed Managing Director, Sales and Marketing in August 2011. He is responsible for marketing and customer acquisition and retention across Sky's range of entertainment and communications products and oversees the Sky Betting & Gaming business. Stephen was previously joint Deputy Managing Director, Customer Group, and before that Director of Product Management. He joined Sky in July 2006 from Virgin Media where he was Director of Strategy and has also worked at News International and Accenture in both Australia and the UK.

Alun Webber

Alun Webber

Managing Director, Product Design & Development

Alun Webber was appointed Managing Director, Product Design & Development in March 2010. He is responsible for all of Sky’s products including Sky+, mobile and internet delivered TV, broadband, mobile applications, and future product research and development. Alun previously held a number of senior positions encompassing operations, technology and project delivery. He joined Sky in March 1995 from Texas Instruments where he worked in product marketing.
