I joined Sky at 17, and it’s been the best decision of my life. I found out about Sky from the website you are on just now and I applied straight away. I had always had Sky in my own home growing up and as a raging sports enthusiast, I couldn’t think of anything more exciting than discussing the fantastic services that Sky provide day in, day out. I had also heard that Sky treat their employees with great care and I would 100% vouch for that, going as far to say, I doubt any other company would treat you better.
As a sales advisor in the Retention department for Sky, my aim is to stop customers from cancelling their Sky subscription. I discuss anything ranging from Sky’s award winning Broadband to our Sports and Entertainment content, working with the customer to make sure they continue their subscription and have the right package to suit them. Everyone in the Contact Centre is really passionate and enthusiastic about what they do, really pulling together to help each other succeed. And as well as all your colleagues, you’re sure to have a fantastic manager who’ll be there to help you develop your skills every step of the way.
As a whole, I would strongly advise anyone who is considering applying for Sky to get your application in! It really is an amazing company.
